Police recovered the child sold for 3000: disappeared from Thave temple in Gopalganj, police engaged in search of seller

The police have recovered the missing child a week ago from Hanuman Garhi locality of Gopalganj Nagar police station area. The child has been handed over by the police to his family members. The missing child is being told of Motihari district. His parents make a living by begging. The child’s mother was very happy after finding the same missing child a week later.

The child’s mother thanked DSP Jyoti Kumari. In fact, Roshni Devi, a woman resident of Kuluarva village of Motihari district, along with her innocent two-and-a-half-year-old child, had come to the Thawe Durga temple of Thawe block of the district to beg. During this, she was begging in the temple when her child suddenly went missing on the day of Navami. A lot of search was done for the child but his whereabouts could not be traced. After which the woman reached Thawe police station but her application was not taken by the police station.

At that time the Headquarters DSP Jyoti Kumari reached the police station, seeing that the woman grabbed her feet and started crying loudly. And narrated the whole ordeal. Taking the matter seriously, the DSP immediately started efforts for the recovery of the child. Some people shared the picture of the child on social media, seeing which a person resident of Hanumangarhi informed the police. The police reached the spot and recovered the child from a woman from Hanumangarhi.

In the interrogation done by DSP Jyoti Kumari, the woman told that when she had gone to worship, the child was crying near a person, on being asked, the person told that this child is mine and its mother has died. We are not being seen, so we are selling it for 5 thousand. After which the woman bought the child by paying 3 thousand rupees because no one takes care of her even while living the whole family.

On which basis that woman wanted to live. In this context, the Head Quarter DSP said that the child has been safely recovered and handed over to his family members, along with the search is on for the seller of the child. Soon he will be in the custody of the police.
