Police ready for Patna University student union elections

Patna Police has completed all the preparations regarding the Patna University Students Union elections. The security arrangements have been completely improved. In view of the student union elections, City SP Ambrish Rahul himself searched the rooms of all the students living in the hostels of Patna University falling under the Pirbahor police station area. Police of many police stations were present along with City SP. During this, City SP also reprimanded many students sitting unnecessarily in the hostel campus. In view of the student union elections, raids are being conducted in the hostels of Patna University since Thursday.

City SP of Patna said that no objectionable thing has been recovered during the search.

Patna City SP Ambrish Rahul said that just a few hours before the student union elections, along with flag march in Patna University College campus, the rooms of the students living in all the hostels of Patna University were being checked. However, during this time no objectionable thing of any kind has been recovered so far. All preparations have been made to crack down on the rowdy students who create mischief during the student union elections. Along with deployment of adequate police force at all 51 booths of Patna University College campus, magistrate rank officers have also been deployed.

Pirbahor Police Station President Sabih-ul-Haq said that the police flag march and raid campaign will continue throughout the night regarding the PU student union elections. After the campaigning for the student union elections has come to an end, the rooms of the students living in all the hostels of Patna University coming under the Pir Bhor police station area are being verified as well as checked. Intensive investigation of many hostels is being done. No suspicious items have been recovered yet.

Only a few hours are left for the election and for this, a large number of police forces have been deployed from the booths to the counting places.
