Police arrested three criminals in Rohtas: Were going to sell stolen bike, bike also recovered

In Rohtas district, the police is on alert to maintain order during Durga Puja. In the vehicle checking operation, three including two inter-district crime personnel of Buxar district have been arrested. They were coming to Sasaram to sell the stolen bike. Giving information in this regard, SP Ashish Bharti said on Tuesday that the police got secret information that three people carrying a stolen bike are coming to Sasaram via Kochus.

Immediately after the information, vehicle checking was started at various places of Kochas police station area. In this sequence, after seeing the checking on Rampur Semaria Road, three people on a bike started running away, who were caught by the police. During interrogation, they could not produce any documents of the bike. On thorough interrogation, it came to light that the bike was stolen. The police arrested the three and confiscated the bike.

The arrested criminals include Krishna Singh of Panapur village and Manish Kumar of Jivapur village under Dhansoi police station in Buxar district. While the third arrested person is Ankit Kumar of Dinara police station Dhachhua village of Rohtas district.

All three admitted during interrogation that they were taking the stolen bike for consumption. The number of the bike has also been tampered with. The SP said that further action is being taken by registering a case in the matter. The criminal history of all three is being ascertained.
