    PM Modi will inaugurate ‘Mahakal Lok’ in Ujjain, visit three-day Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat

    PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for a three-day visit to Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. During this he will launch development projects worth Rs 14,500 crore in Gujarat. At the same time, in Madhya Pradesh, he will inaugurate ‘Mahakal Lok’, which will provide modern facilities to the pilgrims visiting the Mahakaleshwar temple. According to an official statement, Modi will be in his home state from October 9 to 11, where assembly elections are due later this year. At the same time, on October 11, he will go to Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.

    Will inaugurate many projects in Modhera, Mehsana on Sunday

    According to the statement, Modi will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several projects at Modhera in Mehsana on Sunday and offer prayers at two temples. It said, “On Monday he will launch various projects at Amod, Ahmedabad and Jamnagar in Bharuch. After inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of some other projects in Ahmedabad, Modi will visit Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on October 11. According to the statement, “Modi will declare Modhera as the first village in India to run on 24×7 solar power. This first of its kind project embodies Modi’s vision of solarization of the city of Modhera, where the Sun Temple is located.

    Under this project, a solar power plant has been installed on the ground and more than 1,300 solar panels have been installed on the roofs of residential and government buildings, which are interconnected through a Battery Energy Conservation System (BESS). The project will showcase how India’s renewable energy potential can empower people at the grassroots level, the statement said.

    Will lay foundation stone of bulk drug park in Bharuch

    According to the statement, the Prime Minister during his Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh visits will dedicate several other projects to the nation, including the gauge conversion project of the Sabarmati-Jagudan rail section, ONGC’s Nandasan geological oil production project and the mapping project of the Sun Temple at Modhera. He will lay the foundation stone of Bulk Drug Park at Jambusar in Bharuch. Referring to the share of bulk drugs (compounds added to drugs for health benefits) to be more than 60 percent in the total drug imports in the financial year 2021-22, it has been said that this project is to reduce imports and increase drug production. It will play an important role in making India self-reliant in the region.

    The foundation stone of many industrial parks will be laid

    According to the statement, Modi will also lay the foundation stone of several industrial parks. He will inaugurate the first phase of ‘Modi Shikshak Sankul’, an educational complex for needy students in Ahmedabad. This project will provide various facilities to the students for holistic development.” It said, “The Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various health facilities worth Rs 1,300 crore at Civil Hospital Asarwa, Ahmedabad on October 11. In Jamnagar, he will lay the foundation of various projects related to irrigation, power, water supply and urban infrastructure.

    850 crores will be spent on Mahakal Lok Project

    Referring to ‘Mahakal Lok’, the statement said that the first phase of the project will help in enriching the experience of the pilgrims visiting the Mahakaleshwar temple for darshan by providing them world class modern facilities. According to the statement, the ‘Mahakal Lok’ project aims to decongest the entire region and lay special emphasis on conservation and maintenance of heritage structures. Under this project, the temple complex will be expanded about seven times. The entire project will cost around Rs 850 crore, the statement said. It said that the number of pilgrims visiting the Mahakaleshwar temple is expected to double from the current 1.5 crore annually when the project is realized.
