Both the SUVs have received bookings of more than 1 lakh 40 thousand units. The deliveries of the Vitara are yet to commence while the all-new Brezza has topped the sub-4 meter SUV segment.

Reports It is also worth noting that the Brezza and Grand Vitara have seen more bookings for the high-end variants, according to the report. This will give the company good margins on each model and is expected to increase the revenue and market share of Maruti. The combined average price of both the vehicles is estimated to be around Rs 15 lakh per unit. A large number of customers have booked the top-end variant of Vitara. The booking value of these SUVs is around Rs 25,000 crore, which is about 1/4 of the company’s estimated revenue in FY 22-23.

If the new Ertiga and XL6 are also added to these, then this booking reaches about 2.40 lakh units and the price goes up to Rs 35 thousand crores. Buoyed by the good response from the market and the growing demand for SUVs, Maruti is planning to launch more such vehicles in the times to come.

Maruti expects the sales of its SUV to double to around 3 lakh units per annum. The average selling price of Maruti cars has also now gone up to Rs 7.10 lakh per unit from Rs 6.10 lakh per unit earlier. By the way, the reason for this is also the increase in car prices, which has affected the entire industry. There is also a reason that now people are choosing to choose high-end variants. It is being said that the entry of ‘YTB SUV (Baleno Cross)’ and 5-door Jimny can soon be in the company’s portfolio. Both the vehicles have been spotted in the road test. Brezza was the best selling sub-4 meter SUV last month with sales of 15,193 units. Its market share was 24.09 per cent.
