Polling has started peacefully in five municipal bodies of Aurangabad district. Which will last till 5 pm. Due to technical reasons, voting was interrupted for some time at some booths, but due to the promptness of the officials, the voting was started by removing the defects. A lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the voters regarding voting. Even before the start of polling, voters were seen standing in queue waiting to cast their votes. As soon as the polling started, the voters left for their homes after casting their votes. Because seeing the crowd of people around the voting booth, the police officers are being strict.

There are 514 candidates in the fray

Voting is being held at 199 booths of five municipal bodies of the district. 514 candidates are trying their luck in the elections. Now it will be known only on December 20 that which candidate had won how many voters in his favor. Because on December 20, the counting of votes will take place in Kishori Sinha College of the city. Let us inform that 1194 polling personnel have been deployed to conduct the elections in a peaceful manner. While 1700 jawans are handling the command of security. Elaborate security arrangements have been made. So that there is no disturbance at any booth. Immediate action will be taken on receipt of complaint of irregularities.
