New Delhi: Australia captain Pat Cummins has returned home from the tour of India after the second Test in New Delhi due to ‘serious illness of a family member’. According to ‘cricket.com.au’, Cummins is returning to Sydney and is expected to return to India for the remaining two Border-Gavaskar Trophy matches in Indore and Ahmedabad.
India won the second Test inside three days on Sunday, giving both the teams an extra few days’ break. The third Test in Indore will start from March 1. The fourth Test will be played in Ahmedabad from March 9. India and Australia are also scheduled to play a three-match ODI series from March 17.
