Svachchhata Sarvekshan – 2022: Noida has received the Self Sustainable City Award at the cleanliness survey function held at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. Union Minister Kaushal Kishor gave the award. Uttar Pradesh’s Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta arrived in Delhi to receive the Nandi Award. Noida and Greater Noida CEO Ritu Maheshwari was also present with him in the program.
Survey of more than 4355 cities
Today in Delhi, various participating cities for Swachh Survekshan – 2022 by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India were honored with awards and citations in various categories for cleanliness at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. In this program Swachh Survekshan – 2022 was participated by more than 4355 cities. Whose survey was done. In which Noida also participated.
Noida ranked first in UP and 5th in the country
This year, Noida has been ranked first in Uttar Pradesh, 5th in the entire country in its category and 11th overall in the country. Noida also received the Best Self Sustainable Medium City Award. Minister Nandi informed that besides being successful in maintaining its previous ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2022, Noida has also got a new achievement.
Indore remained on top for the 6th time in a row
Indore is once again maintaining the number one record. This is the 6th time that Indore has once again become the cleanest city in the country. While Surat retained its second position in the big cities category this year, Vijayawada lost its third position to Navi Mumbai. Bhopal’s ranking has also improved this time. Bhopal was ranked 7th last time but this time it has moved up one place to get 6th position. Indore has got 7 star rating in garbage free city, while Bhopal has got 5 star rating.
