Former Team India fast bowler Manoj Prabhakar has resigned from the post of Nepal Cricket Team Head Coach. His resignation has also been accepted by the Nepal Cricket Association.
Significantly, in June this year, Manoj Prabhakar took over the responsibility of the head coach of the Nepal Cricket Team. Meanwhile, a rapid improvement in the performance of the Nepal cricket team was also recorded under his coachship.
Let us remind you that Nepal toured Kenya during Manoj Prabhakar’s tenure as the chief coach. In which Kenya was defeated 3-2 in the 5-match T20I series (Kenya vs Nepal T20I Series, 2022). And in the Kenya vs Nepal ODI Series, 2022 too, Kenya was cleaned up with a 3-0 win.

But, sources say that due to unnecessary interference in the batting order, the performance of the Nepal team in batting was not good. Because of this they had no other choice. Remind you that Manoj Prabhakar played a total of 39 Test matches and 130 ODIs for the Indian team in his international career from 1984 to 1996. Apart from this, he was also the bowling coach of the Afghanistan team in the year 2015.
