    Negligence: Pit made on the road is giving invitation to accidents, trouble

    Due to non-repair of Chief Minister’s rural road in Kadwa block area, the problem has increased. Deep potholes on the road are inviting accidents. In fact, due to rain, a big pit has formed on the side of the road due to water flowing on the Chief Minister’s rural road in the rural area. Drivers fall when suddenly a pothole is not detected in the night. There is a possibility of accident on the road in the dark. Nothing is being done to avoid this. Although don’t know how many times officials and local people’s representatives have traveled through this route and this pit must have been visible in their eyes as well. The case pertains to Ranikola village under Parbheli Panchayat. The villagers here told that due to continuous rains in the past, a big pit has formed on the side of the road. Due to which the pedestrians are facing inconvenience. If this road is not repaired then a big accident can happen anytime. These situations are in Ranikola, Parbheli, Bharri, Jaja, Sikodna, Futkaha, Noongarha in the block area. The roads in the rural areas have become completely dilapidated. In the worst condition, the road from Ranikola to Sikodna Kalyani is dilapidated and has huge potholes. Even after this, no one is paying attention to this. As a result of which the pedestrians have to bear the brunt.

    Pastia-Baghora road became dilapidated, villagers demanded early repair

    Azamnagar | The Pastia Baghora road of the block area has become dilapidated. The said road built in the year 2015 has not been repaired till now. Due to the dilapidated and potholed road, people have to face a lot of difficulties in commuting. Among the villagers, Habibur Rahman, Abdul Khaliq, Noor Alam Ansari, Umesh Biswas, Rajesh Biswas etc. told that only the departmental officers would be able to tell whether the 5-year maintenance was used by the sensor or not. But no work has been done on the ground within 5 years. In this regard, about 3 kilometers of the road has been turned into a dilapidated and pit. The villagers have demanded that the said road be repaired without delay. On the other hand, Junior Engineer of Manihari Division Ramchandra Ram said that the estimate for the repair work has been prepared and sent to the department for approval. Road repair work will be started as soon as the approval is given by the department.
