The police has revealed the broad daylight massacre in Begusarai on October 14. The incident took place near number 6 Dhala of Gadhahara Assistant Police Station area. Where Ravi Shankar, a resident of Sabora village, was shot dead by criminals in broad daylight. Taking action in this case, the Begusarai police arrested two friends of the deceased Ravi Shankar, who were involved in the murder.
Sadar DSP Amit Kumar told in a press conference on Sunday evening that Ravi Shankar Kumar was taken by his village friend Ashish Kumar from home on the pretext of showing the land in a Santro car. Here, along with his partner Piyush Kumar and another accomplice, took him to the garden near number 6 Dhala and shot him dead. The DSP said that the deceased Ravi Shankar had also gone to jail twice in the case of liquor and he was murdered only because of a dispute in the liquor business.
The DSP said that it has come to the fore in the investigation that Ravi Shankar was involved in the business of liquor. He was already having a dispute with Ashish Kumar regarding this. On October 14, at 10 o’clock in the day, Ashish Kumar had taken the deceased Ravi Shankar from his car on the pretext of showing the land. He was first brought to Begusarai, then via Barauni, took him to the garden near Gadhahara number 6 Dhala and where he was shot dead.
In this case, the police have arrested Ashish Kumar and Piyush Kumar. The police have also confiscated the car, cartridge and two mobile phones used in the incident. Police said that at present raids are being conducted to arrest another miscreant involved in the murder.
