Municipal election updates in Samastipur: Polling personnel deposited EVMs in line till late night, counting on December 20

After the elections held in the first phase in Samastipur, the counting of ballots will be held on December 20 at Samastipur College, Samastipur, Jitwarpur, adjacent to the district headquarters. Due to which EVMs were deposited from the constituencies till late Sunday night.

There was a long queue of polling personnel to collect the EVMs. With the arrival of EVMs, the security of Samastipur College Samastipur has been increased. On the occasion, under the leadership of Deputy Electoral Officer Vinod Kumar, the team of police and administrative officers is engaged in cooperation.

EVMs of five regions were kept separately

Apart from Nagar Parishad Dalsinghsarai, Tajpur, Patori and Rosda, EVMs of Nagar Panchayat Sarayaranjan area have been kept in different rooms according to different counting of votes. So that the personnel do not face any problem on the day of counting. The personnel can easily count the votes taken out of the EVM.

Vrajgriha has been lashed with CCTV

CCTV cameras have been installed in Vrajgriha located at Samastipur College Samastipur. So that the situation inside the center can be closely monitored. Apart from this, BMP personnel have been deployed in security at all places. Preparations have also been completed at the administrative level regarding the counting of votes.
