Married woman killed for dowry in Jehanabad: Bullet bike and 2 lakh cash was demanded, in-laws absconded after murder

In Jehanabad, a married woman was killed for dowry. The girl’s father Rajesh Prasad told that the demand of bullet motorcycle and ₹ 200000 was not met, then the husband and mother-in-law together killed the woman. It is said that a woman named Neeru Kumari was married to a youth named Kaushalendra Kumar, a resident of Tehta OP area Paradhi village in 2020 as per Hindu customs.

The relationship between the two went well for a few days, but after a few days, the in-laws of the deceased started demanding a bullet motorcycle and ₹ 200,000 cash from the girl’s father, when the girl’s father refused to give, then on Wednesday the girl’s in-laws After killing him, they were trying to hide the dead body. Only then did the villager inform the girl’s maternal uncle. As soon as her father came to know about the death of the girl, the father rushed to the girl’s in-laws’ place and the incident was reported to the police of the local police station.

Police reached the spot and took the dead body into custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital, Jehanabad for post-mortem. After this incident sensation spread in the whole village, the way dowry murders are being done in our society even today, it seems that Social tradition and family relations are getting strained. Some girl is being murdered for a little money. Police say that the matter is being investigated, action will be taken against those who are found guilty after the investigation.
