Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi enumerates the contribution of the common man in education, mentions the library man of Jharkhand

Keeping in mind the contribution of common people engaged in lighting the flame of education in the society, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday mentioned two such persons from Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. Who has made significant contribution in the field of education in the country.

Jatin Lalit Singh of Hardoi village, about 80 km from Lucknow, started a community library and resource center two years ago. At the same time, Sanjay Kashyap of Jharkhand is known as the library man among children. Wherever he was transferred during his service in the state, he opened a library. The Prime Minister mentioned these two people during the 95th episode of his monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat.

Giving education is a good deed in the interest of the society.

Modi said that if someone is donating knowledge, then he is doing a noble work in the interest of the society. There is Bansa village in Hardoi, 70-80 km away from Lucknow, the capital of UP. He said that I know about Jatin Lalit Singh of the village, who is engaged in lighting the flame of education. Jatin started the community library and resource center here two years ago. The Prime Minister said the center has over 3,000 books related to Hindi, English literature, computers and law.

The future of the children was not allowed to be dark.

Talking about Sanjay Kashyap, the Prime Minister said that the people of Jharkhand had faced a dearth of good books. During that time, Sanjay Kashyap decided not to let the future of the children of his area be bleak due to lack of books. Because of this mission, today he has become a library man for children in many districts of Jharkhand. He had built the first library at his native place. He got involved in the mission of opening libraries for the education of poor and tribal children. His mission is taking the form of a social movement today.
