Maharajganj News: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh launched a special scheme on Sunday. Union Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh Saini and Minister Purushottam Rupala flagged off 520 mobile veterinary units (ambulances) in the state government. The main program was organized at 5 Kalidas Marg in which toll free helpline-1962 was also launched. Under this programme, MLA Jaymangal Kannaujiya and other people were also present in the NIC auditorium of Maharajganj district. The MLA flagged off the ambulance.
MLA Jaymangal Kannojia said that now these veterinary clinics will be available for treatment of animals in different parts of the district as soon as a call is made on the mobile veterinary unit (ambulance) toll free helpline number for the treatment of animals in different districts of the state. Information about artificial insemination, animal treatment, vaccination, castration, anthelmintic drug distribution and departmental schemes will be available to the people of the district under Pashudhan Sanjeevani 1962 scheme. On demanding artificial insemination, the cattle rearer will also be informed about the available breed of frozen semen and its milk production. On the other hand, setting up of a state level call center for the treatment of animals will provide a lot of convenience to the cattle rearers.
AD Pashudhan said that with the introduction of the Mobile Veterinary Unit, there will be a qualitative improvement in the livestock medical service in the district. Along with this, people will also be given special advice through telemedicine.
