Liver operation was done instead of appendix.

A patient had gone to the Star Hospital Home located at Kolasi Chowk in Kodha block of Katihar for an appendix operation. Where the doctors operated the liver. Surprisingly, the patient was not even stitched after the operation. Due to which the patient has got infection in the liver and his condition remains critical.

Rinki Devi, 32-year-old wife of Pardesi Thakur, a resident of Kolasi in Kodha block, had a stomach ache a week back. In the nearby clinic, the doctor told to do ultrasound after checkup. Appendix matter came to light after ultrasound examination. The victim’s husband Pardesi Thakur says that the ultrasound report was of appendix operation. When Star went to the nursing home for an operation, the doctors there did not operate on the appendix but operated on the liver. He told that even stitching was not done after the operation.
