‘Keep an eye on 2047, not 2024…’, PM Modi said in the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (July 03) asked his Council of Ministers to keep their focus not on 2024 but on 2047 ahead. PM Modi said, we have to work with the goal of promoting India’s development in many areas by 2047.
PM Modi chaired the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers at Pragati Maidan Convention Centre. Meanwhile, PM Modi gave this advice to his Council of Ministers.
According to PTI, PM Modi said that the time till 2047 will be like Amrit Kaal for the country. He also said that a lot will change in India in the next 25 years till 2047. India will become a country to adopt cutting edge technologies in these years.

Several Secretaries representing different Ministries including External Affairs, Defense and Railways have also spoken in the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers. All the ministries have made a presentation on India’s development road map for the next 25 years.
After the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers, PM Narendra Modi shared pictures of the participating ministers on Twitter. PM Modi wrote the caption, “A fruitful meeting with the Council of Ministers, where we discussed and understood various policy related issues.”

What did PM Modi ask the ministers to do?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that his government has done a lot of development work in its nine years and asked his Council of Ministers to make every effort to inform people about the works in the next nine months.
PM Modi has also asked the ministers to make a calendar of 12 major achievements and schemes of their respective ministries and publicize their work.
Let us tell you that after a series of meetings of the top leaders of the ruling BJP, this meeting took place amidst the discussion of a possible reshuffle in the cabinet. The cabinet reshuffle can be done before the monsoon session of Parliament starting from 20 July 2023.
