Kashmir Tiranga: For the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, 108 feet high tricolor has been hoisted in a public park. People of the area are feeling proud to see the tricolor waving at such a height in Langate area of Handwara in North Kashmir. People were very happy to see the 108 feet high tricolor waving in their area and this happiness was also visible on their faces. A program was also organized with the help of civil arrangements and army, in which ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha Hindostan Hamara…’ was covered on everyone’s tongue.

Kashmir’s Divisional Commissioner P.K. Two girls accompanying Pole inaugurated the event by pressing a button. A large number of school children also participated in this program and they took the tricolor in their hands without any fear and smiles spread on their faces. Let us tell you that in 1976, the people of the place Langate caught the then infamous terrorist Maqbool Butt and handed him over to the police. Maqbool had tricked many Kashmiris and pushed them on the path of terror.

How big a terrorist was Maqbool Butt?
Maqbool Butt had formed the National Liberation Front (NLF) and his front had tricked many Kashmiris into making them terrorists. In Pakistan, they were also given training to explode and use small arms. This organization created by Maqbool Butt committed many murders and kidnappings. After being caught, Maqbool Butt was sent to Tihar Jail in Delhi and hanged on 11 February 1984. After people handed over Maqbool Bhat to the police, the Government of India made this park and gifted it to the people of Langet.

Things getting back to normal in Kashmir
Let us inform that on the occasion of completion of 75 years of independence, under the Amrit Mahotsav, the Prime Minister visited every household. tricolor started the campaign. Under this campaign, for the first time in Kashmir, the tricolor was hoisted at different places. Kashmir Since the abrogation of Article 370, the situation is changing rapidly and gradually the situation is returning to normal.
