Voting will be held on May 10 for a total of 224 assembly seats in Karnataka. The results of the elections will come on May 13. All the election process will be completed before May 24. All the parties have started intensifying their election campaign. In Karnataka elections, where BJP is trying to come back to power with the agenda of development, Congress has adopted the agenda against the anti-incumbency of the ruling party.

Both the Congress and the BJP parties have claimed their respective victories in the Karnataka assembly elections. Where the Congress is contesting elections against the government on the issue of corruption, unemployment and price rise with an anti-incumbency wave, on the other hand BJP is fighting for victory on the basis of development works. On Karnataka elections, Congress MLA from Chittapur and party president Priyank Kharge has claimed that he is winning the elections. He said that 40 per cent people of Karnataka are fed up with the government, the BJP is playing caste politics, and unemployment is at its peak. The party will come to power with 150 seats.

On the other hand, BJP expressed confidence in the development of their government and said that they will win the elections. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said that the BJP is ready for the Karnataka elections and will once again form the government in the state with an absolute majority. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said that we have already gone to the people with all our development work. No BJP leader is going to join Congress.
