A heart-shaking incident happened in Bhitargaon, UP. 26 people died in the tragic accident. The bodies were cremated on Sunday. In Kanpur, 13 pyres were burnt one after the other at Deodhi Ghat, while 13 innocents and juveniles were buried. Seeing this, the heart of everyone who reached the ghat blazed up. At the cremation ground, the atmosphere of the ghat remains as gloomy. When 26 bodies were cremated simultaneously on Sunday, the heart trembled. Police, PAC and administration officials were also present throughout the time.
Hands trembled while placing the dead body of the innocent in the grave
It was not easy to leave the pieces of liver forever. The hands of the family trembled while the bodies of the innocent were being kept in the grave. The pandas present at the ghat performed free rituals.
Women policemen also gave shoulder to the dead bodies
Police personnel were deployed at the ghat only at six in the morning. After around 11 am, 13 bodies were taken to Deodhi Ghat by ambulance. As soon as the ambulance reached the ghat, Maharajpur Police Inspector Sumit Chaudhary, Amit Tripathi, Saurabh, Vijay Singh Chauhan, Lalit Pratap, Rajan Yadav, Ravi Shankar, Rahul Kumar, Yogendra Kumar and female constables Nikki and Sandhya took off the dead body and shouldered it.
After reaching the ghat in the morning, the chief dug the grave
Sitesh Kumar Mishra, head of Ahima village of Maharajpur, came to know about the incident on Saturday night itself. It was also known that the last rites would take place at Deodhi Ghat. That is why he reached the ghat with the laborers early in the morning. To bury the dead body, the work of digging the grave started. Also made arrangements for wood for the funeral.
Dozens of village people gathered, shared grief, consoled
This is probably the first accident in the district, when such a large number of people have died. Hearing this, people from nearby villages also reached Kortha. Shared the pain of the victims and continued to console them. Also attended the funeral.
Raju’s mother and daughter also died
Mundan belonged to Raju’s seven-year-old son Abhi. Raju himself was driving the tractor. He is completely safe but his daughter Riya alias Divya and mother Ramjanaki died.
