On November 27, the new state president of JDU will be elected. Complete preparation has been done by JDU regarding this. JDU’s state election officer Janardan Prasad Singh said that the process of election of state president will be completed on November 27.
This election will be held in Karpoori Auditorium in JDU office of Patna. JDU’s State Election Officer also informed that Janata Dal United has conducted organizational elections in all the districts. District presidents have been appointed there. Nominations will be filed for the state president on November 26 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. While the nomination papers will be scrutinized from 1:15 to 1:45 and the withdrawal time has been given from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
At the same time, on November 27, voting will be held from 11:00 am to 1:30 am. A polling booth will be set up in the Karpuri auditorium of the JDU office in Patna. Immediately after that the program of counting of votes will be held and the new state president will be elected.
70 lakh members have been created
State Election Officer Janardan Prasad Singh said that this time 70 lakh members have been made. Which is 30 lakh more than the year 2019. The youth in JDU have shown a lot of enthusiasm. More than 60 percent youth have become members. He told that 1% elections in block level elections were postponed due to organizational elections. While 11% have been suspended, 9% have been split and 80% have been elected unopposed.

Janardan Prasad said that in the district level elections of total 51 organisations, the election of four district city presidents and five district presidents have been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. Elections have been held in 42 organizational districts.
