Janhvi Kapoor On Her Launch: Janhvi Kapoor admitted that her film industry connections gave her a big break in Bollywood. However, he said that after his first two films, he is getting high-profile offers. Not only this, he believes that getting this offer shows that the filmmakers have reacted to his talent.
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Janhvi said that she cannot pay people to cast her in films, and that she is getting work purely on the basis of her talent. Asked if she has overcome the criticism that plagued her from day one, she said it doesn’t matter much to her now.
my father doesn’t have that much money
He said, “I have analyzed it on the basis of the kind of opportunities I am getting. My first film, yes, maybe I was curious about being the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. And maybe that curiosity till my second film.” increased.
Janhvi further added, “Now if I am getting any work, it should be on the basis of what they think I can offer. It is not that I want people to take me (in their films). I am not that rich. Neither is my father. He must have appreciated something about me. No one is big hearted enough to launch a star-kid and suffer a monetary loss Pick up.”
Let us inform here that Janhvi made her acting debut in 2018 with the film Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khattar. She then played the lead role in Zoya Akhtar’s short film for the Netflix anthology Ghost Stories. Janhvi has also acted in films like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Roohi and Good Luck Jerry.
