Jamui, Railway Adarsh ​​station, remained dark for an hour due to a technical fault in the electricity late on Monday evening. Dozens of passengers were present at the station due to the arrival of Jan Shatabdi Express train.

According to the information, there was a sudden power cut at platform number 1 of Jamui station. The power has been cut since 5.45 pm till now. There is electricity on the same platform number 2. It was time for the Jan Shatabdi Express train to reach Patna on platform number one. Due to the sudden power cut, there was panic among the passengers. The passengers started making noise. Passengers said that as it was dark, they kept on holding their belongings and children.
