Jammu-Kashmir: Two laborers of Uttar Pradesh have died in the terrorist attack in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Both were residents of Kannauj district of the state. Kashmir Zone Police wrote in a tweet on Tuesday, “Terrorists hurled a hand grenade at Harman, injuring two UP laborers Manish Kumar and Ram Sagar. He was taken to the hospital where he died. Both were residents of Kannoj. The area has been cordoned off. Let us tell you, a few days ago a Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead in Shopian.
Terrorist who threw grenade arrested
In another tweet, the police said that the terrorist who threw the grenade has been arrested. Police said, “The person arrested by Shopian police is a hybrid terrorist of banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba Imran Bashir Ghani. Further investigation and raids are on.”
Kashmiri Pandit shot on October 15
Earlier on October 15, a Kashmiri Pandit Puran Krishna Bhat was shot dead near his house in Chaudhary Gund in South Kashmir district. According to the local people he had not migrated and was living in Shopian.
