New Delhi. According to the big news coming from Indonesia, a huge fire has broken out in the huge dome of the Jakarta Islamic Center Grand Mosque here. After this the dome suddenly collapsed. According to a Gulf Today report on the matter, no one was injured in the accident so far. It is being told that renovation work was going on in this dome. Suddenly a fire broke out at that moment. At least 10 fire tenders were on the spot to douse the fire.
According to the incident, suddenly high flames appeared in the Jakarta Islamic Center today i.e. Thursday morning. The flames were so high that it was clearly visible from many areas of the city. This horrific fire created a plume of smoke which could be seen even from several kilometers away. Amidst these flames and smoke, the dome of the mosque suddenly collapsed on the front.
It is worth noting that this mosque is said to be of great religious and historical importance to the local people. At the same time, in the video footage going viral on social media, flames and smoke coming out of the dome just before the collapse of the mosque is clearly visible.

Indonesia’s local media reported that firefighters were informed immediately after the sudden blaze at 3 p.m. local time, at least 10 fire tenders were dispatched but the fire could not be extinguished. According to local media, the police are investigating the cause of the fire and have also questioned the contractors working in the building.
Apart from this mosque, there are also educational, commercial and research facilities in the Islamic Center complex. It is worth noting that the dome of the mosque had caught fire during repairs even 20 years ago. Then it took more than five hours to extinguish that fire of October 2002.
