BJP MLA from Jabalpur Ajay Vishnoi has also come openly in the field of politics in Madhya Pradesh regarding liquor. Vishnoi, who told his fight apart from the issue of Uma Bharti, said that the sale of liquor in MP should be like the UP government. He expressed concern that alcohol should not become a big issue in the 2023 assembly elections. Vishnoi has also written a letter to the Chief Minister regarding his demands.

Former Chief Minister Uma Bharti is already vocal about alcohol in MP. His campaign against the decisions of the government continues. Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Jabalpur Ajay Vishnoi has also raised his voice regarding the sale of illegal liquor in the state. Vishnoi says that he also discussed with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan several times in this regard. Also wrote letters. There is a demand of Vishnoi that liquor should be sold on the lines of UP in MP also. There, liquor is being provided to the people only from the time the liquor shop opens till its closure. Yogi government’s hard work is paying off on illegal sale.

Vishnoi, MLA from Patan assembly constituency, has claimed that illegal liquor business is rampant in rural areas. He expressed concern that if this ban is not stopped in time, then illicit liquor may become an election issue in the elections to be held next year. Liquor contractors are selling liquor in abusive localities arbitrarily. Vishnoi has appealed to CM Shivraj to issue concrete instructions to stop the sale of liquor from door to door. The government can save the lives of rural people by saving revenue of 3 thousand crores.
