A Lucknow-based businessman was shot by the salesman of the pump for pouring oil at a petrol pump located near Kesarpur in Faridpur’s Faridpur in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district at around 11 pm on Sunday. The accused salesman fled after committing the crime. Businessman Arvind Dwivedi (42) was taken to the CHC. Where doctors declared him brought dead. Arvind, a resident of Vasant Kunj, Lucknow, runs a steam placement company. Late on Sunday night, he was returning to Lucknow from Moradabad with his friend retired PCS officer Vineet Srivastava, Shubham Vajpayee and Honey working in the company. These people were in two cars. Shubham told that he stopped at the petrol pump near Kesarpur on the Bareilly-Lucknow National Highway to get oil poured in the car.
Here Arvind asked the salesman to pour oil, then the salesman refused to pour the oil, stating the time of 11:00 in the night.
On this matter a dispute started between the salesman and Arvind. Then the salesman took out the gun and shot Arvind in the chest. The bullet hit Arvind on the right side of the chest. As soon as the bullet was fired, there was a stampede.
On information, the police took Arvind to the hospital. Here the doctors declared him dead after seeing him. His wife Reema has been informed about the incident.
Arvind Dwivedi has two daughters and one son. The police has sent the Panchnama of the body for post-mortem. CO Gaurav Singh said that efforts are being made to arrest the salesman. Two people are being taken into custody and interrogated.
