Investigation will be done at railway station and bus stand: Alert issued regarding Corona, appealed to take precaution dose

City Reporter | Motihari has issued an alert in the district in view of the increasing cases of corona in China. People have been called upon to wear masks in crowded places. This is very important for people suffering from serious illness and for the elderly. Taking the Precaution dose has been made compulsory for all. The Health Department has been kept in full alert mode regarding the fifth wave of Corona, Omicron BF7. Along with increasing the testing of Corona, the health department team will check the passengers by setting up a camp at Bapudham Motihari railway station and bus stand. There is not a single positive patient of Corona in the district. Investigation is already going on at the railway station. Corona investigation will start from Thursday at the bus stand. Civil surgeon Dr. Anjani Kumar has appealed to the people to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

GNM Girls Hostel has 100 beds for corona patients

The GNM Girls Hostel located in the Sadar Hospital premises has been made a DCHC for the patients of Corona. At present there is a provision of 100 beds. Patients will be supplied oxygen through pipeline. Both the oxygen plants of Sadar Hospital have been made functional. Two months back a plant was closed due to shortage of wire. Which has now been fixed. Oxygen is supplied from a plant through pipeline in Sadar Hospital. At the same time, the ICU has also been strengthened. However, doctors and paramedical personnel have not yet been deputed to DCHC.

3772964 suspects have been investigated so far

The first infected of Corona was found in the district on 26 April 2020. So far, a total of 20978 corona infected have been found in the district. In which 20627 have been completely cured, while 351 have died during treatment. This includes maximum deaths of 308 infected in 2021.

3879791 was given the first vaccine of Corona

Till Tuesday, the first dose of corona vaccine has been given on 3879791 in the district. Whereas 3846924 have been given the second dose and 992825 have been given the vaccine of precoction dose. At the same time, 738902 in the age group of 12 to 14 years, 816650 in the age group of 15 to 18 years have been given the corona vaccine.

Containment zone will be determined

During the corona investigation, the areas, square-intersections, haats and villages where more corona infected patients were found, those areas will be identified and maximum investigation will be done. The village or ward in which more patients will be found, that entire village or ward will be made a Containment Zone. The persons who are found infected during the corona test and want to be treated voluntarily by staying at their home, will be provided with necessary medicines following Covid-19 and health check-up will be done by sending doctors and ANMs from time to time. People living in home isolation will be tracked through the Home Isolation Tracking App (HIT). There is a 10-bed ICU in Sadar Hospital. Which is currently on. Patients are admitted here continuously.
