India vs Western Australia Practice Match: Team India had to face defeat in the second practice match played before the T20 World Cup. India could not achieve the target of 169 runs. Could score 132 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Western Australia won the match by 36 runs. Indian team vice-captain KL Rahul scored 74 runs in 55 balls. Apart from him, no batsman can even score 20 runs. Rishabh Pant 9, Deepak Hooda 6, Hardik Pandya 17, Axar Patel 2, Dinesh Karthik 19 and Harshal Patel returned to the pavilion for 2 runs. India won the first warm-up match by 13 runs.
Virat Kohl did not play matches
Virat Kohli did not play in this match either. Despite being in the playing XI, Rohit Sharma did not bat. Batting first, Western Australia scored 168 for 8 wickets. R Ashwin was the most successful bowler. He took three wickets. Harshal Patel took 2 wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs. Whereas Arshdeep Singh got a success. Suryakumar Yadav had scored 52 runs in the last match. Three fours and so many sixes came off his bat. Hardik Pandya also scored 29 runs. Deepak Hooda scored 22 runs in 14 balls.
