When the match was canceled due to rain
If the match is not played due to rain, then both the teams will get 1 point each. According to the ICC rules in the T20 World Cup, if a match is canceled or tied in the Super-12 round, then both the teams will be given 1 point each. In this tournament there is a provision of 2 points for the winning team and 0 points for the losing team.
If there are equal points of 2 teams in the group, then the decision will be like this
If the points of 2 teams in the group remain the same after the end of the Super-12 round, then which team will go to the next round will be decided by the number of matches won by which team in the group. Which team had the highest net-run rate and which team is better in the head to head record between the two teams.

The ICC has arranged ‘Reserve Days’ for the semi-finals and final matches. If the semi-final didn’t happen because of rain, or did it happen, where did it stop? In such a situation, the next day the match will be started again from the same place where the match was stopped. A ‘Reserve Day’ has also been arranged for the final match.
Under what circumstances will ‘Reserve Day’ apply?
The ‘Reserve Day’ shall be used only when 5 overs of play has not been possible in the semi-final and/or final due to rain, or for any other reason.
