IND vs PAK T20WC: Indian captain Rohit Sharma on Sunday termed Virat Kohli’s unbeaten half-century as the best innings played for the country in this format after their T20 World Cup win over Pakistan here. Kohli was not in the rhythm for a long time, but after coming back from the break, his bat has been continuously coming out of the Asia Cup. Rohit said after the match, ‘Yes, I think this is his best T20 innings. Coming out of the kind of conditions we were in and registering a win, I think it should be one of the best T20 innings I’ve played for India, not just Kohli.” He added, “In the 13th over of the match we got Around 100 runs were needed. We were trailing in the match and the required run-rate was going up. Chasing this target out of those conditions, Virat batted brilliantly. Obviously Hardik also played his role well.
