India’s first match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will be against Pakistan at the Melbourne Stadium in Australia on Sunday, 23 October. Former India great bowler Harbhajan Singh has given his opinion on what will be Team India’s best playing XI against Pakistan in this world war. He has selected 11 players of his choice, who can sour the teeth of Pakistan.

In a special program of Star Sports, Harbhajan Singh told his best playing XI. Surprisingly, he has not included Harshal Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin in his playing XI. Rishabh Pant is also not in this squad.

To this Harbhajan Singh said, “I believe Harshal, Deepak and Ashwin will not get a place in Playing XI. Against Pakistan, Shami (Mohammad Shami) and Bhuvi (Bhuvaneshwar Kumar) will play the responsibility of fast bowler and Axar Patel and Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) will play in the spinners. Dinesh Karthik (Dinesh Karthik wicket-keeper batter) will play the role of finisher.

Harbhajan said, “The Indian XI will be very simple. There won’t be much change in the team. Arshdeep Singh, Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar will be in the team’s playing XI.

Harbhajan believes that this time Team India is balanced and surely the team will perform well. He certainly believed that Jasprit Bumrah’s absence would have an effect, but Mohammed Shami would not let him miss him.

Significantly, Mohammed Shami has been included in the Indian squad as a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah.
