IND vs NZ ODI Series: Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the ODI series against New Zealand due to a back injury. Giving information about this, BCCI said that Shreyas Iyer will not be able to play this series due to back injury. In his place, Madhya Pradesh player Rajat Patidar has been included as a replacement. Let us tell you that the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand is going to start from January 18. The first match of the series is to be played in Hyderabad. This change has been made in Team India just a day before the match.
Iyer ruled out due to injury
Giving information about this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said that Shreyas Iyer will now go to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for rehabilitation. The BCCI is yet to reveal how serious the injury is. How long can it take to recover or when did he get hurt. Iyer’s ouster is a big blow for Team India as Shreyas has done exceptionally well in the last one year. The second ODI of the series is to be played in Raipur on January 21, while the third and last match is to be played in Indore on January 24. After this, a three-match T20 International series will also be played between India and New Zealand.
