Mirpur: Indian fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat created a unique record as soon as he took the field in the second Test cricket match against Bangladesh here on Thursday. He has become the Indian cricketer who has been ruled out of most Test matches. Unadkat made his Test debut in 2010 and after that now he has got a chance to play his second Test match.
He has been named in the squad in place of left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who was adjudged man of the match in India’s 188-run win in the first Test in Chittagong. Unadkat made his Test debut 12 years ago on 16 December 2010 against South Africa at Centurion. After this, now he returned to the team after being out of 118 Test matches.
