Kuldeep Yadav had a knee operation just before the second leg of the Indian Premier League 2021 (IPL 2021) played in the UAE, due to which he was out of the game for a long time. Talking about his long break, Kuldeep said, “It’s been two years (22 months) to say but I never felt it.”
He said, “If I had not played cricket after recovering from injury, then I would have struggled. But in the last one year, I have been playing limited overs cricket consistently and I also played red ball cricket against New Zealand (A series).
Kuldeep Yadav said, “I did long spells in that series. If you are with the national team then you don’t feel the pressure.” He said, “Because of my bowling style, I do not have any problem in adjusting from one format to another. It is a different matter that when you bowl in Test matches, you need to maintain control. You have to work hard to get wickets because the batsman has a lot of time to settle down and test you.
Kuldeep said, “I think it is an ideal pitch for batting. It is a good pitch to bat against the spinners as well. Yes some balls are staying low and taking turn. We expect to get maximum turn in the second innings.
