Akshar Patel took 4 wickets
Significantly, India had set a target of 513 runs to win against Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s second innings was reduced to 324 runs only. Bangladeshi team opener Zakir Hasan played a century innings of 100 runs, but with the defeat his achievement was overturned. On the other hand, Najmul Hussain scored 67 runs.
Indian cricketer’s bowling was excellent
For the Indian team, spinner Akshar Patel took 4 wickets while bowling brilliantly. Whereas Umesh Yadav, Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav performed brilliantly. Earlier, Bangladesh openers Zakir Hasan (17) and Nazmul Hossain Shanto (25) started the game ahead of the fourth day’s play. On the fourth day, both the batsmen gave a steady start. Shanto and Hasan had completed their own Fifty. Shanto became the victim of Umesh Yadav on a personal score of 67. By the third half of the fourth day, Bangladesh had scored 271 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 99 overs. He needed 242 runs to win. On the fourth day, India needed just four wickets to win.
