Why didn’t you get the surgery done earlier?
Ravindra Jadeja said that I had been struggling a lot with my knee and was awaiting surgery. I had to decide whether to get this surgery done before the World Cup or after. Doctors advised that it should be done earlier, after which I decided. Ravindra Jadeja told that even if he had got his knee surgery done before the T20 World Cup 2022, he would not have been able to play the World Cup.
How fit is Ravindra Jadeja?
He had not played any cricket since undergoing a right knee surgery in September. But playing for Saurashtra in their last group-stage match against Tamil Nadu in Chennai last week, Jadeja bowled 41.1 overs and took seven wickets in the second innings. Now back to NCA to complete his final round of fitness test. Whereas Shreyas Iyer is yet to get fitness clearance.
