Melbourne: Australia’s limited-overs specialist all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has claimed his selection for the tour of India (India vs Australia) by scoring a half-century in a club-level match on his return from injury. Maxwell was out of the team in November last year due to a leg injury.
The 34-year-old cricketer will now play for Victoria in the Marsh Sheffield Shield match against South Australia on Monday. A good performance in this match could make him the national team for the three ODI series against India in March.
