The second match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test Series, 2023 is going on from Friday, February 17 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Australia won the toss (AUS vs IND 2nd Test Match, 2023) and elected to bat first. The Indian team has entered the field with one change in the playing XI of the last match. Shreyas Iyer has returned fit in the middle order in place of Suryakumar Yadav. This match is the 100th match of the Test career of Cheteshwar Pujara, the experienced and senior batsman of the Indian team.

The Delhi Test match is historic as it is Cheteshwar Pujara’s 100th Test match. This is a big achievement for Team India’s number 3 batsman Cheteshwar as he has been in and out of the team many times. Sunil Gavaskar gave the 100th Test cap to Pujara
Cheteshwar Pujara’s family was also present in the stadium on this occasion. Captain Rohit Sharma said on this occasion that it is not just a matter of playing 100 Test matches, there have been many ups and downs in his career. Sunil Gavaskar, the Bhishma Pitamah of the cricket world, honored Cheteshwar Pujara with the 100th Test cap on this special occasion of his career. Team India appeared with him on this occasion.

Cheteshwar Pujara was honored by Sunil Gavaskar on the occasion of 100th match of his Test career and said, it is an honor to get this cap from a legend. Gavaskar has always inspired. I wanted to play for India as a youngster, but I never knew I would play 100 Test matches. For me Test match is the biggest format which throws life like challenges in front of you. I would like to say to all the young players that they should work very hard to play test cricket for India. I would like to thank my family, wife, BCCI and my teammates who have supported me in my journey till now.
