On the matter, the ICC said that one demerit point has been added to Jadeja’s disciplinary record. The said incident happened during the 46th over of Australia’s first innings on February 9, when Jadeja was seen applying cream on his index finger.
Significantly, Australia’s team scored only 177 runs in the first innings, then Ravindra Jadeja took 5 wickets. In response, Team India scored 400 runs in their first innings.
