In view of Diwali and Chhath, people have started coming from all over the world. Due to which huge crowd is being seen in trains coming from places like Delhi, Punjab, Mumbai, Kolkata etc. In view of the rush in the trains, RPF has issued an order of vigilance. During this, on Tuesday evening, RPF personnel along with Dog Squad conducted a search operation in various trains passing through Samastipur station.
During this, baggage of passengers was checked in the bogies of various trains like Vaishali Superfast Express returning from Delhi, Bihar Sampark Kranti Express, Swatantra Senani Express, Kolkata going Gangasagar Express, Jaynagar Patna Patliputra Intercity Express etc. A dog rescue team was also deployed during the investigation. RPF Post Inspector BP Verma said that there has been an increase in trains coming from places like Delhi, Punjab etc. Taking advantage of the crowd, liquor traders can reach the states with liquor, in view of which vigil is being taken. Baggage of passengers is also being checked in various trains. He said that this investigation will continue till the campaign and Chhath.
He said that on Tuesday evening, the team of Rajeev Kumar Yadav, B Khalkho of Dog Squad checked the baggage of passengers in various bogies of trains like Freedom Fighter, Vaishali Super Fast Express, Ganga Sagar Express, Jaynagar-Patliputra Intercity Express etc. However, no incriminating material was found during the investigation.
