RIYADH — The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held here Monday a lecture entitled “The Role of the Media in Fighting Terrorism and Extremism in the Era of Social Media”.
It was presented by Head of Regional Security and Military Studies at Al-Ahram Center for Studies in the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Eman Ragab.
The lecture was held in the presence of IMCTC’s Acting Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, and representatives of the member states and employees of the IMCTC.
During the lecture, the role of the media in combating terrorism and extremism was discussed, as well as the international experiences in using the media tools in combating terrorism and criminal groups were also discussed. — SPA
