Dubai. India’s Suryakumar Yadav retained the top spot in the ICC T20 Rankings for batsmen while Shubman Gill rose to a career-best 30th ranking. Surya is on top with 906 rating points. At the same time, Gill, who scored a century in the third match against New Zealand, is at the highest ranking of his career.
Gill, who has scored hundreds in all three formats of the game, is sixth in ODIs and 62nd in Tests. Virat Kohli dropped one place to 15th while KL Rahul dropped two places to 27th and skipper Rohit Sharma to 29th. Ishan Kishan has slipped three places to be at 48th position. There is no Indian in the top ten of the T20 bowling rankings.

Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has moved up eight places to reach a career-best 13th ranking. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has dropped a place to be at 21st position. Ravichandran Ashwin and Akshar Patel remain at the 29th and 30th positions respectively. All-rounder Hardik Pandya moved from 50th to 46th among batsmen and 66th among bowlers. He is second only to Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan among all-rounders.
