New Delhi: The International Cricket Council Board (ICC) today unanimously elected Greg Barclay as its chairman once again. Greg Barkley is re-elected as independent president for 2 years. Greg Barkley was elected unopposed after Zimbabwe Cricket President Twangwa Mukuhlani withdrew his nomination.
Let us tell you that Greg Barkley is a commercial lawyer in Auckland. Barkley was appointed as the ICC President in November 2020. Greg Barkley was the President of New Zealand Cricket (NZC) and also the Director of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2015. “It is an honor to be re-elected as the President of the International Cricket Council and I would like to thank my fellow ICC Directors for their support,” said Greg Barkley on his re-appointment in an official press release.
