Khagaria defeated Saharsa in the first match

Ekta Cup cricket tournament was inaugurated in the memory of Rameshwari Devi, Harsh Chandra Khandelwal alias Subal Babu at Maveshi Haat ground under the aegis of XI Star at Singheshwar in Madhepura. Social worker Dilip Khandelwal inaugurated the match by cutting the ribbon. The inaugural match was played between Khagaria Cricket Club vs Saharsa Cricket Club.
