Gorakhpur News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath wished for public welfare by doing Rudrabhishek at Mansarovar temple in Gorakhpur on Monday morning. Today, the seven-day long Sri Lakshminarayan Mahayagya will also begin in the Gorakhnath temple. On May 21, the deities will be consecrated in the Gorakhnath temple.
CM Yogi reached Mansarovar temple at seven in the morning. All the preparations for Rudrabhishek had already been done. CM performed Rudrabhishek of Shivling after duly worshiping. During this, CM Yogi wished for public welfare. After this, CM Yogi started the grand Kalshayatra and the Rath Yatra of Deities. This Kalash Yatra will end at the Yajnashala of Gorakhnath Temple. While the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Pothi will be honored with Vedic rituals at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, the story place. CM will formally inaugurate the story from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
Yogi Kamal Nath told that in the series of ritualistic programs for consecration of deities, Sri Lakshminarayan Mahayagya will be organized daily from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm in the Yajnashala of Gorakhnath Temple from May 15 to May 21. On the occasion of consecration of the deities in the new temples having 9 deities in Gorakshpeeth, the sequence of religious rituals in two phases started from May 8 with Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha. The seven-day story of the first phase rested on Sunday in the presence of CM and Gorakshpeethadhishwar.
