Girlfriend’s family fired at lover’s mother: Referred to AIIMS in critical condition, police took one accused into custody

In Naubatpur, Patna, on Saturday evening, the family members of the girlfriend opened fire on the lover’s mother over a love affair. The lover’s mother was badly injured in this incident. He has been referred to AIIMS, Patna for treatment in a hurry. After the incident, sensation spread in the entire village. Naubatpur police, who reached the spot after getting information about the incident, have taken the girlfriend’s maternal uncle Chandu Rai into custody.

It is being told about the incident that Rahul Kumar, resident of Chutki Tagraila of Naubatpur had fallen in love with Rajni Kumari of Bairiya Gopalpur in the year 2019. Rahul Kumar and Rajni Kumar ran away from home and got married in Patna in the year 2021. After the court marriage, both of them ran away and started living outside. A few months ago both the couple lovers reached their home in Naubatpur.

From this marriage, the boy’s family kept the girl at home as their daughter-in-law, but the girl’s family refused to accept this fact and remained adamant on giving back to the girl.

On Saturday, Rajni’s brother Deepu Kumar, Amit Rai, his family members Sumitra Devi, Rajesh Yadav, Chandu Yadav reached the boy Rahul’s house from Bairiya Gopalpur regarding this matter. After reaching home, the people of Rajni’s family somehow wanted to take Rajni back to their home.

Due to this a dispute started between the two families. It is being told that in this sequence, Rajni’s brother Deepu Kumar opened fire on Rahul’s mother Chandravati Devi. One bullet hit Chandravati Devi’s right eye and she was injured.
