Four constables of Patna’s Beur police station arrested
Patna’s Senior Superintendent of Police Manav Jeet Singh Dhillon on Saturday arrested four constables including a Jamadar of Beur police station and sent them to jail. The case is related to Beur Jail, where in order to take the prisoners back from the jail, these policemen have been accused of buying mobiles by taking money. Taking strict action on this, Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manav Jeet Singh Dhillon suspended the police personnel. Along with this, a case was registered against him at Beur police station and he was sent to jail on Saturday.
Let us let you know that in Patna’s most sensitive jail, Adarsh Central Jail, a large quantity of mobile phones, chargers, drugs and many objectionable items were confiscated by the jail administration late on Friday night. There was a stir among the jail administration due to the information that a large quantity of mobile phones were found in the jail. The jail administration had registered a case against 4 prisoners in Beur police station in this case.
Regarding this matter, the senior constable superintendent of Patna took it seriously and started its investigation. Several startling things came to light during the investigation. In the course of investigation, it was found that Jamadar Ram Kishore Singh, constable Rajiv Kumar, Vikas Bharti, Hansraj Tiwari and Chhavi Muni Singh had brought the prisoners to the Patna court in a captive vehicle. In order to return back, with the connivance of the Jamadars and the soldiers, the prisoners bought mobile chargers and objectionable items in large quantities from the market. Taking this matter seriously, the senior constable superintendent of Patna has taken strict action against them.
