The actress will next be seen in Metro In Din, directed by Anurag Basu. The actress last worked with Basu for the crime-comedy film Ludo.
The actress recently shared a picture of herself with Anurag Basu on her Instagram account and captioned it Hey Aap! Can’t wait to get back on set.
The actress said, I am really excited to visit the sets of Metro this month. I love Dada (Anurag Basu). He is a talented director. He has a way of creating magic on screen and I am very fortunate that I am getting a chance to work with him again and be a part of his magical world. That said, he brings out the best from his actors and what’s better is that there is always great food on his sets.
As a child artist, actress Fathima has worked in films like Chachi 420 and Bade Dilwala. He last worked with Sanya Malhotra and Aamir Khan in the film Dangal. Apart from Fatima, the film will feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta.
The film is scheduled to release on December 8, 2023. Apart from Metro these days, some of Fatima’s other projects are Sam Bahadur in which she will play Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and Dhak Dhak. Work is in progress on both.
