Digital Desk, Mumbai. The film ‘Adipurush’ was released on 16th June after a long wait. But people found the film’s dialogues and characters as well as many scenes objectionable and the film completely managed to subvert people’s expectations. After watching the film, people got angry and bad reviews started coming about the film. The controversy increased so much that the makers had to change the dialogues of the film. The dialogues of the film were changed on the previous day itself but it does not seem to have any positive effect on the film. Not only the dialogues have been changed but the tickets of the film have also been made cheaper, but still the film is not getting the audience. The collection of the film is decreasing day by day and after such a grand opening, this resolution of the film in just 7 days is surprising.
did so much collection on the sixth day
After a grand opening, the collections of ‘Adipurush’ started declining steadily due to poor reviews. ‘Adipurush’, which did a stupendous business of 69.1 crores on Sunday, earned only 16 crores on Monday. On Tuesday, the film’s business declined further and earned Rs 10.70 crore at the box office. Now the film could collect only 7.50 crores at the box office on Wednesday i.e. the sixth day of its release. On Thursday, once again there has been a huge decline in the earnings of ‘Adipurush’, which is continuously increasing.
The collection is very low even on the seventh day
Now the seventh day collection of the film has come to the fore. On Thursday, ‘Adipurush’ has collected only 5 to 6 crores at the Indian box office. On Wednesday, the film had earned Rs 7.25 crore, against which the next day’s collection has fallen again. Reports say that the Hindi version of ‘Adipurush’ hasn’t earned more than Rs 3 crore on its 7th day. Although the film has crossed the collection mark of 250 crores and with this its total earning has now become Rs 255.30 crores. But seeing the way the response is being received about the film, it seems that the film will not be able to touch the figure of 300 crores.
Changed dialogues, cheaper tickets
Even after the controversy over the film, the film makers have tried their best to keep the film in theatres. In the film “Adipurush”, the controversial dialogues of Hanuman ji “Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka, aag bhi tere baap ki, jalegi bhi tere baap ki…” have been changed. Now Hanuman ji’s tail is on fire. He turns and says to Meghnath- ‘The cloth of your Lanka, the oil of your Lanka, the fire of your Lanka, your Lanka will also burn.’ Even though Lanka is being heard in the changed dialogues, we are seeing only the father on the screen. At the same time, the tickets of the film have also been made cheaper. The tickets which were being sold between 1000 to 2000 in the past have now been reduced to 150. The 3D tickets of the film are also available at the same rate.
